April 03-09: Chiang Mai International Cricket Sixes

Hundreds of amateur cricketers from all over the world descend on Chiang Mai with great family games, a well-stocked bar, delicious bbq food plus fun for all.

April 09: Coke Summer Festival
Where: Kad Suan Kaew, Huay Kaew Road

Enjoy top class concerts plus foam bubble parties performing by The Richman Toy, Instinct and activities for all the family.

April 13-15: Songkran Thai New Year
Where: All over the city
When: Dawn until dusk
Prepare to get thoroughly soaked with the crowds around the moat and all over the city at the traditional Buddhist New Year celebration of Songkran. The watery festival goes on all night and is probably the best time of year to visit Thailand.

April 18-19: Chiang Mai Fest
Where: Chiang Mai Arts and Cultural Centre (behind Three Kings Monument)
When: all day
