GERMAN tourists flying into Chiang Mai will soon be able to take advantage of a free limousine service.
Air Berlin, the country’s second largest air carrier, has been working closely with Bangkok Airways to secure greater cooperation.
And from the start of April Air Berlin business class customers flying to Chiang Mai are eligible for the airline’s complimentary luxury car service upon arrival.
This arrangement has already been in place for several months for Bangkok passengers, but this is the first time the benefits have been transferred to the northern capital.
Air Berlin passengers will be greeted in Chiang Mai International Airport arrivals hall and then taken by limousine to their hotel or destination of choice. And the limousine will again be provided for their return journey home.
And thanks to a new codeshare agreement, Chiang Mai passengers have an even smoother connection in Bangkok before travelling north.
Air Berlin is currently operating four non-stop services every week from Düsseldorf to Bangkok, three direct services every week from Berlin-Tegel plus two direct services every week from Munich.
