DECEMBER 10-12: PHRA CHAO TILOKARAT LIGHT AND SOUND PERFORMANCE

Hosted by the Faculty of Humanities, this spectacular show is honours King Tilokarat, who was the 10th King of the Mengrai Monachy and did many things to help the Lanna Kingdom during his reign. There is a special performance held on December 10th in English, and tickets are available from the Faculty of Humanities
DECEMBER 11: CHIANG MAI MUSIC FESTIVAL
Where: Ban Wangtan Village, Sunpakwan Road

This special concert is being held in order to raise funds to allow the talented children of Chiang Mai and the surrounding villages to study music. There will be demonstrations by a number of the children involved and guests can either purchase tickets or support the cause by signing up for a life membership.
DECEMBER 12: CHARITY CHRISTMAS PARTY
Where: Tiger Tiger, Chareonprathet Road,

This elegant occasion with be held to help the Baan Phonsawan Child Development Center. Guests will be treated to a buffet diner, with a wide range of evening entertainment including live music, games and prizes. Tickets cost just 200 baht each and the money will go towards the cost of sending underprivileged children to school and giving them a good quality of life.

DECEMBER 25-27: ANNUAL ROSE SHOW

Rose lovers will be in their element with this colourful event, in which rose growers from all over Thailand gather to show off their prize blooms. The event features a number of different exhibitions as well as competitions and tips and demonstrations on how to grow the perfect roses.
